Brief History of Sheikh Albani Zaria:

The father of Sheikh Muhammad Awwal Adam Albani, Abu Abdurrahman, originated from Kano; however, the Sheikh was born and raised in Muchia Sabon Gari, Zaria. He completed his primary education in the area before attending Barewa College. He earned his first degree in Information Technology from the Federal University of Technology Yola, Adamawa State. Prior to his passing, he was pursuing an M.Sc in Electrical and Electronic Engineering at Ahmadu Bello University (ABU), Zaria. Sheikh Albani is survived by three wives and over twenty children. He was the founder of the Albaniy Science Academy located in the Gaskiya layout of Zaria. Additionally, he led the Daarul Hadeethis-Salafiyyah School and delivered weekly lectures at the Markazu-Salafiyya Centre in Tudun Wada, Zaria. Beyond his teaching engagements in Zaria, he frequently traveled to various states and countries for preaching purposes. His burial drew numerous Islamic scholars from across Nigeria, including notable figures such as Sheikh Muhammad Bn Uthman, Sheikh Aminu Ibrahim Daurawa, Sheikh Aliyu Abdullahi Telex, Sheikh Salihu Abubakar, and Sheikh Tukur Almannar, among hundreds more.
